Japanese cheese cake

Ingredients:-

• 120g dark chocolate

• 3 eggs

• 120g Philadelphia light / cream cheese

Method :

Separate the yolks from the white, whip the egg whites until stiff. Melt the dark chocolate and add them first to Philadelphia and then to the yolks. Once combined gently incorporate the eggs.

Pour into an oil glass container that you will place another pan with water. Bake in oven at 170° for 15 minutes, then lower the temperature to 160° for another 15 minutes and finally turn off the oven and leave to cool inside for another 15 minutes. Remove from the mold once the cake is cold.

Characteristics of Japanese Cheese Cake

Japanese cheese cake is known for its delicate texture and subtle flavor. It's made with cream cheese, eggs, sugar, and flour, but the key ingredient is meringue. The meringue is made by whisking egg whites and sugar until stiff peaks form. It's then folded into the batter, which gives the cake its light and fluffy texture.

Another characteristic of Japanese cheese cake is its jiggle. When you cut into a Japanese cheese cake, it should jiggle like a jelly. This is due to the use of meringue, which creates air pockets in the cake.
